Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month empowers survivors, caregivers and loved ones to share their stories, raise awareness, advocate for policy change and support research.
The American Osteopathic College of Proctology supports this month as a valuable opportunity for all health care providers to educate their community about these diseases and promote awareness of the importance of colorectal cancer screening, prevention, and treatment.
Colorectal cancer is the second-leading cause of cancer deaths of men and women combined.
The disease is preventable with screening, and highly beatable and treatable if caught at an early stage.
We strive to stay in communication with all inquiries to the college. Have a question about our profession, or need information on upcoming events? Send us a message with your specific needs.
